Magnetic Compass
The JUPITER Magnetic Compass is a versatile solution for large vessels, serving as a bearing, steering, reflector, and overhead compass with a 180 mm card diameter. It is type-approved, meeting ISO 449 standards and complying with the EC Council Directive 96/98/EC. When installed in NAVIPOL binnacles, its accuracy surpasses 0.5°. Optional features include flux-gate pickoff, shadow pin, wooden transport box, replacement parts kit, and azimuth device.
The iconic JUPITER magnetic flat glass compass and aluminum alloy binnacles are among the products, with NAVIPOL models such as NAVIPOL I, NAVIPOL II, and NAVIPOL III, each tailored to specific needs. All binnacles come equipped with a JUPITER Magnetic Compass, dimmer, and B, C, D, and Flinder's bar correctors. Optional features include a protective cover, a set of additional B and C compensating magnets, and the azimuth device PV 24.
The Universal Digital Repeater, paired with a Sperry Marine fluxgate sensor and compatible magnetic compass, alongside NAVITWIN IV and/or NAVIPILOT 4000, displays the corrected magnetic compass heading.
Available in console or watertight housing with bracket attachment, the Universal Digital Repeater is Type-approved in compliance with the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) 96/98/EC.
